The course is broken down into three parts:
Part one is about different diets, understanding what nutrition is and the functions of the macro and micro nutrients.
Part two is about the role of diet and nutrition in different chronic diseases and conditions including the impact of other lifestyle factors on overall health.
Part three is about functional nutrition, what it is and how it can be used.
Functional Nutrition is one component of functional medicine and cannot be practiced in isolation of clinical input but this course will allow you to have a full understanding of the role of functional nutrition in achieving improved health and as a professional working in nutrition, will provide you with a detailed insight into this ground-breaking field.
